The mornings are crisp, the leaves are turning and pumpkins have filled the grocery store. This only means one thing – fall has arrived! While we love basking in the sun on the boat off Cape Lookout, we can’t help but cheer when the temperatures start to drop and our weekends are filled with football games and homemade chili. When it comes to decorating for fall, Hope loves to add pops of coastal elements like sand dollars or starfish to her seasoned decor. Here are 5 ways you can do the same!

 Neutral Pumpkins

Choose neutral colored pumpkins like white, green or grey for coastal look that will pair nicely with your home decor. TIP: Don’t worry if you can’t find a color your like. Simply grab a bottle of spray paint in the color your prefer and spray away!

Add Shells

Once you’ve found the pumpkins you like fill a bowl, lantern or basket with them. Add shells, coral as accents.

Carve a Pumpkin

Take your Halloween spirit to the water! These cute pumpkins add fun seasonal flair to doorsteps or docks.
